The Quote of the day

My classmates Priscilla Garcia, Aticza Arreloa  and I,Jose Reyes, found this quote:  Never have regrets because at one point everything you did in life, was exactly what you wanted.”
And we will be sharing our thoughts and what it means to us...
We like this quote because we believe what it states is very true.
We think that, in life what we do is because that’s what we choose to do at that point, and there was a reason why we decided to make that choice, yes it could have been a better choice, but we only see that after we have already made the choice we wanted. That’s the reason why we shouldn’t regret the choice we made, because when we decided to do it, that’s exactly what we wanted, just like the quote states. Then from making those choices we made and regret it, it can only be a lesson learned, and we will know what to do or make a better choices from that lesson learned. We believe us, that we shouldn’t live with so many regrets, we should consider it a lesson learned from that mistake we made and not call it regret. Therefore this is our point of view towards the quote.

Network Neutrality

What is Network Neutrality? Well Network Neutrality is fundamental principle that is used to keep the Internet a free and open. In my opinion Network Neutrality means to me a security to protect the internet from getting companies to tax for their information. I my opinion I believe that this Network Neutrality is a good idea for the people. I think this because if it wasn't for this we would be getting charge to get on Facebook, Google and much other stuff. I don’t know what would happen to the Internet if we didn’t have Network Neutrality. Something that I do imagine is that if this Network Neutrality is removed the people are going to stop using the Internet. If the people stop using the Internet then all companies are going to lose one way to advertise their new products. I also think it’s a bad a idea because if they take it off their going to slow down a lot of smaller business and would not be able to put out their word. So in my opinion I believe that Network Neutrality is a good idea.

The Fireball That Could Save Firefighters’ Lives

Firefighters risk their lives every time they run into burning building to save people lives in danger. They don’t stop to think what chemicals are in the smoke. Now the company of Intel invented a new tool for them. Intel invented a little ball called Fireball. The fireball has sensors that detected what  is in the smoke. For example the Fireball would detect if there is carbon monoxide, ammonia, and chemicals in the smoky air and will also the heat temperature. After it detects all of that then it sends it back Via Wi-Fi to a server that the firefighters have in the fire truck. After that it sends it to a site commander's smart phone, then they say if the building is save to go into or not. Firefighters would not use this in a occupied building but would use it in a industrial fire where there is a lot of chemicals that would be exposed. For example they could use it when they go put out a fire in a science lab. The fire department yet has not used these little tools but they are going to start testing them in little fires. For example they could test them in house fires. They are going to test them to see how the little Fireballs hold up in the fires and maybe the fireballs could become the new toolkit for the fire department. In my opinion I think that it’s a good idea. I think because after the 911 incident most firefighters that went to help out went in to the broken building to look for survivors and the smoke damaged their pulmonary system. The air didn’t affect them right away but later on they were being diagnostic with lung cancer. So I think that they should get those fireballs in the tool kit so this incident doesn’t affect that much.

The Internet of things

Well I just read a article called the article of thing. In my opinion i think that this article was really interesting and really informative. Well in the article it talked about chips into people stuff so they would know everything they do and in my opinion its bad there be no privacy. I think it is invasion of privacy because they are checking everything that we have because it feels weird. I think chips on everything are bad but I do think that having chips on my iPod or phone or in other really important thing is good because if I lose it you could find it. Another thing that I think is good about the micro chips is that it’s going to improve the technology of the future. This invention will be good for owners of stores or any type of merchant sellers because they could check what they have in the stores or when they get stolen. Something that I personally think that should not be chip is my shoes I think that because you should look for them instead of relying on technology to find it for you.  I also think it is a bad idea because then the people are going to be lazy and are just going to relying on the technology to do everything for them. So in my opinion I do not really have a side to pick. So it really doesn’t matter to me if the technology is getting more advanced or not with these chips.
